2024年年頭のご挨拶

富山大学医学部整形外科教授　川口善治

あけましておめでとうございます。本年度も富山大学医学部整形外科をなにとぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。
さて今年は1月1日から能登の地震があり、また翌日には羽田空港で航空機事故があり、大変な年明けになりました。被災された方々におかれましては、心よりお見舞いを申し上げます。早期の復興を望みます。富山は地震によって多少の影響受けましたが、医療活動は続けられている状態です。
いつも年頭に当たって今年の抱負を考えるわけですが、今年もYKK（優しく患者さんに、厳しく自分に、協力して皆で）をモットーに頑張って参りたいと思います。1月4日の通称、ねじ巻き会ではそれぞれの医局員の先生方から様々な今年の計画を聞かせていただきました。改めて大変心強く思いました。是非これらの計画の実現に向けて我々協力してやっていきたいと思っています
今年は2人の新入局員を迎えることになります。彼らが富山大学医学部整形外科で研修して良かったと感じ、さらに将来の希望を持つことができる、そういう取り組みを一生懸命にして参りたいと思っています。皆さんのご協力をよろしくお願い申し上げます。
関連病院においても研修医あるいは学生が回ってくることがあるかと思います。整形外科の魅力を伝える意味において協力してやっていければ大変ありがたいと思っています。
　それでは今年も元気よく明るく、教育・診療・研究に携わって参りたいと思います。何卒よろしくお願い申し上げます。

A Happy New Year from Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Toyama, Japan!
Well, there was an earthquake in Noto peninsula on January 1, and there was an airplane accident in Haneda Airport on the next day, this year. We worry the people who suffered from the accidents. We really hope early recovery. Toyama received some influence by the earthquake, but the medical service is able to be continued.
I always think about ambitions of this year in the beginning of the year, but want to try YKK (for a patient, it is everybody in cooperation with oneself strictly kindly) (It is difficult to explain in English) in a motto this year. I had heard various pains from the medical staffs on January 4. I felt very stouthearted again.
We have 2 new doctors in our department working as orthopaedic surgeons. They receive training in University of Toyama medical department orthopedics. I hope they will become good doctors in future.
I want to be engaged in education, medical treatment, and research works as hard as possible this year. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
